WISDOM DURING CORONAVIRUS

WISDOM DURING CORONAVIRUS

"Intelligence without wisdom brings destruction" - Erol Ozan.

Wisdom during coronavirusWisdom is the ability to learn from hard lessons all around us. Today, March 24th, 2020 coronavirus is a pandemic yet many of us are still not taking it seriously by continuing our everyday activities like: going to the park, the ocean and other public places filled with people.

We, as people hold the key to a successful outcome of this outbreak. Here are some current stats.

ACTIVE CASES BY COUNTRY

  1. China - 81K
  2. Italy - 70K
  3. USA - 53K
  4. Spain - 40K
  5. Germany - 32K
  6. Iran - 25K

By the weekend the cases in the USA will most likely raise to number 1 position in the world. Leaning towards our wisdom from learning by observing other's approach is very valuable right now.

The first lesson of wisdom we learned was from Italy by implementing the Lockdown and Shelter in Place

coronavirus lockdown

Which states are on lockdown due to coronavirus?

The following states have implemented some form of shelter in place or stay at home order.

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Louisiana
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Michigan
  • Nevada
  • New Jersey
  • New Mexico

The shelter in place order in California means that while pharmacies, banks, laundromats, laundry services, and essential state and local government functions will remain open, dine-in restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, gyms, convention centers, and salons will be closed.

How can we help stop the pandemic?

The less interactions we have with each other the higher the chance of slowing down this pandemic and spread of the virus. The faster we stop the pandemic the faster our economy will bounce back. As of right now, small business and big corporations are under bankruptcy pressure.

  • Stay home.
  • Wash your hands.
  • DO wear a mask and protective goggles when you are out.
  • Limit your trips to the store.
  • Use 99% rubbing alcohol spray to disinfect your home and incoming mail packages.
  • Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet.

One of the main reasons we should stay home to not overwhelm our hospitals because they have limited supplies.

Carla's superpower is Wisdom and she is asking everyone to stay safe.

I've been thinking of creative ways to stay afloat while not being selfish during this pandemic, as a lot of small business will suffer or possibly disappear. I thought: caution will keep us safe but humor will keep us going. So I came up with this solution. I will donate 10% of our proceeds from these humorous t-shirts during this dark time to Global Giving and their Coronavirus Relief Fund.
If you are able to, please support, it will keep our small business afloat and most importantly your support extends to the entire world surviving this crisis.
Thank you for your support in advance.

Moosh Bye.
